The day she said "I will"

This day came on January 31st 2009. Courtney went out with dress shopping with a bunch of the women in my family... Vanessa, Talea, and Kimber (Lindsay had this study session). Anyway, as soon as she left, me and Jacob went to work. We first went to walmart and had them blow up like 80 red and white balloons. Then we brought some streamers, posterboard, and other stuff. Because Courtney was going to be back in a couple hours we really had to hurry!!! The balloons made alane from my sisters front door to me... about 10 feet beyond the door. We had streamers everywhere, and everyone showed up, including one of my good friends Daren Judd and Ashley (they are getting married this saturday... April 24th! Congrats!!). anyway, each one of the people who were with me(my family and friends) had a poster with a letter on it. The letters read. W-I-L-L Y-O-U M-A-R-R-Y M-E. To be honest..my family is so much a part of my life that i didn't want to have this moment without them in it. :) Anyway, she walked in...there were candles in between the balloons, and i was in my black suit, with a red tie. Jacob had a video camera going! I got on my knees and MY MIND WENT BLANK!! So.. I told her that i couldn't really think of anything to say. All I said was...I love you, and i asked her if she would read the signs behind me...I also asked her if she would be mine... She SQUEAKED I will... Most everyone in my family was like.."what did she say?" lol. And because we were kissing my mom said, "well...i hope that means yes". lol. Then we all ate tons of lasagna (which is how we do things in my house). It was a pretty special night :)
